Halswell Cricket Club Grocery Grab Raffle

This season we are running a fundraising raffle for the club. Tickets are $2 each or $20 for a book of 10 tickets. The raffle will be drawn on Saturday 25th November 2023 at 1.30pm, at our annual Club Day. Ts&Cs can be found below. The first prize is a $500 Grocery Grab thanks to Halswell New World, and subsequent prizes will be drawn after the 1st prize has been drawn.  A big thank you to all the businesses that have generously donated prizes.

Prizes are up to date as of 25th October, and are subject to change as new prizes are donated.

Terms & Conditions

The raffle will be drawn on Saturday 25th November at 1.30pm at our Club Day. Winners will be contacted directly. If we cannot contact the major prize winner within 48 hours a new winner will be drawn. For the other prizes if contact cannot be made within 2 weeks the prize will be re-drawn.

Raffles, lotteries and games of chance – these gambling activities are covered by the Gambling Act 2003 and ours is classified as class 2. As such our draws will be supervised by an appropriate person (lottery game rule 6(14)).

One winner of the $500 grocery grab draw will be randomly chosen from all sold tickets. The following rules apply to the grocery grab:

  • No liquor, tobacco, prezzy cards, gift cards.
  • Those undertaking the grab will be only able to purchase age appropriate items, normal laws apply.
  • Winners have 5 minutes to conduct their grab at New World Halswell on Wednesday 29th November at 7.30AM.
  • At the checkout the goods will be totaled up & items will need to be removed to make the value of the shop $500 or less.
  • All standard Raffles, lotteries and games of chance class 2 rules apply.
  • There is no cash alternative.
